The Los Angeles Dodgers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Cincinnati Bengals all have major renovations under way for the 2019 season, according to an article by ESPN Criid.
The teams will play games at Dodger Stadium on the West Coast and will open in the new stadium in 2020, with the first game to be played at Dodgertown.
The Dodgers and the Browns are set to begin their major renovations this season, with Cleveland’s new ballpark opening in 2019.
Los Angeles will also open in 2020 for the first time in its history, and the Bengals will begin construction in 2020 on their new stadium, which is scheduled to open on March 2, 2021.
Cincinnati will begin playing its first game at their new ballpark in 2019, but the team has a new stadium planned for 2020, which could be at least another year or more away.
Bengals Owner Mike Brown will return to the team’s downtown stadium as CEO, while the team will relocate to an area that is currently being used for a temporary soccer stadium.
Brown and his ownership group are looking to move their stadium to Downtown, where the stadium will play host to concerts and events.
If the team stays in Cincinnati, the stadium could host concerts and games at a capacity of more than 40,000 people.
After the Browns play at Yankee Stadium for the second time this season in 2020 and the Dodgers and Cavaliers play at the new Dodger stadium in 2019 , the Cleveland Browns will play their first game in 2019 at a temporary stadium in San Francisco, which will be used for the 2020 season.
When the 2019 MLB season is over, the 2018 World Series will be the first MLB postseason series to end with a series tied.
This year’s World Series has featured the Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays, Washington Nationals and Milwaukee Brewers.
