Lakeside’s new luxury apartment, which is the first to be opened in Dublin since the death of Michael Collins, is set to open to the public this evening for the first time.
The Lakeside, at the corner of Waterford Road and the city’s southern shore, is the city-owned property of the Waterford family, who own a number of other properties in the area including the former Tischendo Hotel and the Doolin Hotel.
The Lakesides luxury apartments are located at the foot of Waterlough Hill overlooking the lakeside, the River Liffey, the Shannon River and the Dublin skyline.
The apartments, which are designed to look out onto the city, will feature the same sweeping views of Dublin as the new Waterford Hotel.
Lakeside Apartments, located at 3 Waterford Avenue, will be open to public viewing from 8pm until 10pm, with the viewing taking place from 9pm until 11pm.
The Lakeside Apartets website states that there will be free entry from 8.30pm until 1am, and the view will last for an hour and a half.
More details can be found on the Lakeside website.
The newly opened Lakeside apartment at Waterford is located at Waterloye Street in Dublin, and it is a new addition to the popular lakeside town, which has a long history of accommodation and is one of the oldest areas in the city.
A number of new apartments have been constructed across Dublin, including the new Lakeview Hotel in Rathfarnham and the new Hotel Indigo in the north.
