The median price of apartments in Florida has jumped more than 30% over the past year, according to data from real estate firm Zillow.
And it’s been the highest since 2009.
The Zillows median apartment price jumped from $849,900 to $1,034,400 in 2017.
But that’s more than double the $700,000 increase in 2016.
In 2017, Zillys median apartment rent increased by about 2.6% annually.
Now the price increases have increased by more than 2.8% annually in the past two years.
According to ZillOW, Miami and Orange County are the only two counties in the state with higher median apartment rents than in 2018.
Zillow says it has more than 50,000 apartments in both cities.
